Ugh

How come they don't teach you how difficult life is in school? At least that way you can sort of prepare for it.

I'm completely lost...

Say Yes to the Dress

Have we seriously run out of interesting materials for new TV shows? I think I just witnessed the very bottom of American TV.

I don't know who's more annoying - the over-tanned, awful NuYawk-accented wedding consultants or the silly brides and their friends who keep saying how beautiful the bride looks. Does everyone become completely blind when they walk into this place?

No, some of these brides-to-be are absolutely grotesque-looking. No $87,000 wedding dress can make them look BEAUTIFUL! Why must we continue to celebrate mediocrity and claim them to be the bestest of the best?

Beautiful! Magnificent! Wonderful! Gorgeous! Mesmerizing! Sexy! Fantastic! Perfect! Special! .......what ever happened to honesty?

Iceland

I'm off to Iceland for a long weekend with James. Jimmy had to back out last minute, unfortunately, so it's only 2 of us now. Oh well.

I'm hoping to see some geysers, waterfalls, northern lights and glaciers. Heck, I might get lucky and run into Bjork on the street! Iceland's bankruptcy is my golden chance to visit this stupid-ass expensive place.

Anyway, I'll be home soon, all you loyal followers of kevinography. Don't miss me too much.

Blue Ginger

On our way to Maine, we stopped off in Wellesley to have lunch at Blue Ginger, a restaurant owned by our Asian brother, Ming Tsai from Ming's Quest and East Meets West. Justine had cheeseburger sliders and I had a Korean steak sandwich. They were decent, not great. Oh well. At least we got to see Ming.......

J/K! He wasn't really there....

Maine, here I come!

Justine and I are off to the great state of Maine (that one's for you, Phil) tomorrow, more specifically Cape Elizabeth. It's a small coastal place just south of Portland, about 5.5 hours away from NYC. It'll be cold but I guess I'll be getting myself ready for my trip to Reykjavik next weekend!

Here's a pic of the famous lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth.

A new Nikkor prime lens

So I just recently found out that Nikon is releasing a new prime lens. The AF-S Nikkor 35mm f1.8 DX lens. It's scheduled to go on sale sometime in March for $200.

Now I'm wondering if I should sell my 30mm Sigma 1.4 that I just purchased off a dude on Craigslist. Anyway, this is exciting news for all DX format Nikon SLR owners, especially for those with the D40/D60 with no motor rod thingee.

The Greatest Game Ever?

Well, I don't know about that, but the game is strangely addictive and fun. Yes, very dorky and geeky, but very fun, nevertheless. If you haven't played it, go get it. It's called "Settlers of Catan"! And i'm crazy! CRAZY I say!
